Professional's Choice Takes Reno!

Between the Barrel Racers and the Ropers, the Professional's Choice team took home over $42,000.00 in winnings.
It started with Barrel Racers Brittany Pozzi, Shali Lord, Shae Lynn Hooks, and Linda Vick, qualifying in the top 12 to
make the Winter Tour Finale.
Winter Tour Finale Barrel Racing finals winner Brittany Pozzi of Victoria, TX took home $17,000. Pozzi said, "I won the
Tour Finale and I won second at the rodeo - that's my biggest win ever. I've gotten my two biggest wins this month with
the help of the Professional's Choice SMB Elites and I've now moved to the #1 position in the world."
Semifinals winner Shali Lord of Lamar, CO, and her horse Slider ran for a winning time of 17.14, earning $9,000 which now
places her in the #3 position in the WPRA world standings.
Shae Lynn Hooks of Orange, TX finished seventh in the semifinals.
 
The Reno Rodeo Women's Barrel Racing Champion Linda Vick of Hesperia, CA, rode to win $11,767 with a total time at 51.39
seconds. Vick's new winnings have pushed her into the top five in the WPRA.
11 time WNFR qualifier Britt Bockius of Claremore, OK, ran three steers in 17.2 seconds to win the Reno Rodeo Team Roping,
taking home $12,824.
This wasn't the first win for 7 time WNFR qualifier Jerome Schneeberger of Ponca City, OK who placed first in the Tie-Down
Roping go round and second in the rodeo with a total of 27.6 on three to win $5,886.
