Professional’s Choice, leading manufacturer in Sports Medicine Products recently named Kelly McGinnis, of Los Angeles, CA, Director of Marketing and Product Development for their English markets including the Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Combined Training and all specialized breed – Hunt Seat markets.
Mr. McGinnis brings to Professional’s Choice an award winning background in marketing, advertising and promotion for the entertainment industry. McGinnis served as Creative Director, Sr. Producer and Director for FOX Entertainment Group, Turner Broadcasting and E! Entertainment Television. His recent work has contributed to the success of the familiar television shows Prison Break, House, The Shield, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, and over the years he has worked with industry forces such as Paramount, Universal, ABC, CBS, NBC, DirecTV, Disney, NASCAR, and Microsoft.
With McGinnis, Professional's Choice also inherits a well-rounded horseman who began his competitive riding career at the age of six. McGinnis came up through the ranks of Pony Club, 4-H, AQHA, and various Combined Training organizations, to become a truly skilled equestrian. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Kelly focused his riding interests on Dressage and began his international quest for knowledge, training with Olympic Gold Medalist Dr. Reiner Klimpke, Danish Olympic team coach Rudolf Zeilinger and, Olympic Bronze medalist, Steffen Peters. Kelly rides his two FEI level horses daily and continues to enjoy Dressage training and expanding his knowledge of the sport both in the U.S. and abroad.
