Professional's Choice “Cutter Appreciation Day”
Means Extra Payout for Cutters at SDCHA’s Winter Classic

San Diego, CA (February 1st, 2008) Professional’s Choice was proud to sponsor San Diego Cutting Horse Association’s Winter Classic, January 17th through the 25th, and add extra money to the winnings during the second annual “Professional's Choice Cutter Appreciation Day” on January 19th.
Professional's Choice is one of SDCHA’s most supportive sponsors. “We provide a great deal of support to equine clubs and associations around the country, but it makes us very proud when we have such an outstanding group of people such as SDCHA right in our own back yard. When it was suggested we put together something special for the Winter Classic last year, we were all for it. It’s a great way for us to support the sport locally, as well as educate young cutters about the benefits of our products,” said Dal Scott owner of Professional's Choice.
 Brought back by popular demand, this is the second year that Professional's Choice has sponsored this event. On day three of the Winter Classic, Professional's Choice gives an extra payout to the winner of each class for using Professional's Choice boots or saddle pads during the event. The prizes are in addition to the regular payouts. A winning ride using a Professional's Choice saddle pad or Professional's Choice boots pays $250 cash, if the rider is using both, it pays $500 cash.
This year 64% of the contestants were using Professional's Choice products ranging from Professionals like Al Dunning and Tim Smith, to amateur Hollie Kucera who came away with the biggest payout from Professional's Choice for using their products during the event. Another highlight of the Classic was Sandy Bonelli winning the non-pro Super Star Shootout
